Our Story: Born in the Paddock
MotoGuru was created in the paddock, not a boardroom.
It’s the creation of two dedicated racers who combined their professional expertise with a deep-seated passion for motorbikes to solve the problems they faced every race weekend.​​
​The Founders
Laurence is the driving force behind MotoGuru's strategy and design. With a 20-year background in technology and business analysis, she excels at turning complex requirements into seamless user experiences. As a competitive racer and an ACU-accredited On-track Coach, she understands the user's needs from both a technical and practical perspective.

Ash is the app's subject-matter expert. A highly respected engineer, Ash is a renowned figure in many racing paddocks, including British Superbike (BSB), known for his technical expertise and exceptional problem-solving skills. His hands-on experience ensures every feature in MotoGuru meets the real-world demands of riders and race teams.​
​Our "Why"
Our shared life revolves around the UK's racing circuits. Through managing teams, coaching riders, and competing ourselves, we saw a universal challenge: riders from novices to seasoned pros were juggling scattered notes, paper setup sheets, and guesswork. We knew there had to be a better way.

This first-hand experience became the driving force behind MotoGuru: to build the professional tool we wished we'd had when we started, and the one we rely on today.
